Conor McGregor Reacts To Joe Rogan’s Excitement Over Khabib vs. Gaethje

Joe Rogan took to social media to sound off on the latest fight announcement made by the UFC that got the attention of Conor McGregor. 

Of course, Dana White announced on Tuesday that Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Justin Gaethje for the UFC lightweight title would take place at the UFC 255 pay-per-view event at a venue to be confirmed on October 24th.

The longtime UFC color commentator posted the following on his official Instagram account: 

“It would be impossible for me to be more excited about this fight. The return of the GOAT lightweight king, @khabib_nurmagomedov vs his most dangerous challenger, @justin_gaethje. I CAN’T FUCKING WAIT.”

The former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion wrote the following in the comments of the post:

Ravens POV: I’ll be honest, I have no idea what McGregor’s comment was all about. Sure, he wants a rematch with Khabib and has never lost a rematch. Look at the Nate Diaz rematch. Dana White wants the rematch because it draws money, but what about the Tony Ferguson fight? There’s plenty of options involving Khabib.
