Cris Cyborg just pitched to do a rematch with Amanda Nunes in an event that would be co-promoted by the UFC and Bellator.
Nunes defeated Cyborg by knockout early in the first round on December 29, 2018, at UFC 232. Cyborg wrapped up her stint with the UFC with a win over Felicia Spencer at UFC 240.
Cyborg went to Bellator where she beat Julia Budd to win the women’s featherweight title. She’ll make her next title defense against Arlene Blencowe at Bellator 249 on October 15, 2020.

Cyborg told TMZ how she wants the rematch and the plans behind it.
“I know everybody wants to see [Cyborg-Nunes rematch] fight. Let’s make this fight happen. Ya know? I don’t have opportunity to do the rematch before. But, for sure in the future, if Dana White would like to do, I’d like to do.
Let’s wait and see what’s gonna happen. We’re open for that. [Bellator President] Scott Coker’s open for [the cross-promotion fight]. Just the other side has to agree.”
