Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone didn’t go the distance at the UFC 246 event as it only lasted 40-seconds.
McGregor finished him with strikes on the ground in round one.
According to UFC President Dana White, the former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion has expressed interest in fighting soon. In fact, he wants a fight next month on Fight Island.
“Conor wants to fight, it sounds like he wants to fight in June and he’s asking if there would be fans there. There would not be fans, and the fight would be in mid-June or the end of June. But Conor wants to fight,” White said.
