Dana White Thinks Max Holloway vs. Volkanovski 2 Had Bad Judges

Dana White made his feelings known about the judges who scored the rematch between Max Holloway and Alexander Volkanovski.

Many people thought Holloway did enough to beat Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title at the UFC 251 pay-per-view event on Saturday night via ESPN at Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island aka Fight Island.

Holloway nearly finished him twice in round one and once in round two. If Volkanovski needed a highlight, he got it in round four and five with brief takedowns. The judges awarded the win to Volkanovski by split decision.

The UFC president gave his take at the post-fight presser.

“You can’t leave it to these guys. We’ve got some bad judging. I’m sure (Holloway) is devastated. Did anybody here score it for Volkanovski? Anybody? Nobody in the media? I don’t know. We’ll have to figure it out,” White said to BJPenn.com.“Looks like we’ve got to tighten up our refs and judges here on Fight Island.”
