Deiveson Figueiredo isn’t wasting any time as he’s slated to fight again next month.
ESPN’s Ariel Helwani reports that the flyweight champion will defend the title against Brandon Moreno at the UFC 256 pay-per-view event.
Figueiredo just retained the strap over Alex Perez in the main event of UFC 255 with a quick guillotine choke while Moreno smashed Brandon Royval at this same event.
Deiveson Figueiredo To Make Quickest Turnaround As Champion At UFC 256
“UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno have officially verbally agreed to fight at UFC 256 on Dec. 12, per multiple sources. The flyweight title fight will join the previously-booked bantamweight title fight between champ Petr Yan and Aljamain Sterling. The 21-day turnaround would be the quickest turnaround for a champion and/or challenger in a UFC title fight, per @ESPNStatsInfo.”
