ESPN Apologizes For Tech Problems During UFC 257 PPV Event

There were a lot of upset fans during UFC 257 and it was just for those who bet on Conor McGregor winning, but mostly thanks to ESPN. 

The UFC 257 pay-per-view event took place on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from Fight Island in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Dustin Poirier vs. Conor McGregor headlined the show. In the co-main event, Michael Chandler vs. Dan Hooker took place.

ESPN Apologizes For Tech Problems During UFC 257 PPV Event

Some fans couldn’t buy the show in time while others could buy it, but not able to stream it. ESPN issued the following statement to MMA Fighting regarding the problems: 

“We’re aware that a technical issue prevented a portion of users from accessing part of the ESPN+ pay-per-view event, and we apologize for that experience,” ESPN officials said. “We worked as quickly as possible to identify and resolve the issue.”
