It appears that when the UFC holds international events on an island, it won’t be called Fight Island as UFC president Dana White has called it.
Instead, it will be UFSEA. Darren Rovell tweeted out the following:
“UFC’s Fight Island might have a new name. The organization has filed for four applications to… UFSEA! First discovered by @JoshGerben.”
Josh Gerben also sent out this:
“The UFC has filed 4 new trademark applications for UFSEA.
The filings indicate an intent to use the UFSEA trademark in connection with mixed martial arts events and a clothing brand.
These filings come on the heels of the UFC’s filings back in April for ‘FIGHT ISLAND.’”
